As a prominent voice for trans rights and equity, she has dedicated her life to dismantling barriers and crafting spaces where trans individuals can not only survive but unapologetically thrive. She has spent over two decades in the nonprofit sector transforming passion into purpose. Today, she lends her expertise to some of Houston’s most impactful organizations, as a board member for The National Advisory Board for Gay America Esquire. Furthermore, she not only serves, but has made history as the very first openly transgender person elected Board of Directors for, The Diana Foundation. Through every triumph and every challenge, her guiding light has been a radical, unyielding commitment to hope, queer futurism, and the celebration of trans joy.
